Edit blocks on restricted pages

hi all,

i have set up a user group which has the permissions to access a specific section and all child nodes and it works as expected with users in this group only able to edit these pages. However they are unable to edit the blocks that are on these pages and are only able to view them.

is there anyway to make the blocks editable on the pages that users have access to edit?
